This year lecture will focus on ‘Girls Right to Education: A Case for Africa’. Despite progress in education; poverty, school-based violence, child marriage and discriminatory gender norms still exist as obstacles to girls’ education in Africa.
The African Achievers Awards has consistently honoured great African Achievers from African Leaders, Young Achievers, Community Builders to Captains of Industries across the continent.

The high point of the event is the Achievers Honours, this will be presented to Africans making a difference across the Globe.
Now in its 8th Edition, the 2018 African Achievers Awards Lecture and Ceremony is hosted by Rt. Hon. Diane Abbott, Shadow Home Secretary and Chaired by Susan Fajana Thomas, Chairperson African Achievers Awards Board.
