Avril’s ‘Walks and Talks’ gives a presentation that shows how Black people are represented via statues, busts and other monuments around London. Famous and not-so-famous people have been idolised in stone and other materials around the Capital. Come and hear historian Avril Nanton break down these fascinating, interesting and intriguing statues that contribute to the rich heritage of the Black community in London.
