Starring Octavia Spencer,Tiffany Haddish, Blair Underwood and Carmen Ejogo, the series follows African American entrepreneur Madam C.J. Walker, who rises from poverty to build a hair care empire and become the first female self-made millionaire.

Executive produced by Octavia Spencer, the four-part limited series details the life of America’s first self-made millionaire — how she fought for social change and simultaneously overcame post-slavery racial and gender biases, personal betrayals, and business rivalries to build a ground-breaking brand that revolutionised black hair care.
