The African Heritage tours highlight histories that have long been excluded from traditional narratives held within European art history. The focus of these tours is not simply on works that featured Black people or were created by Black people but works from which they are absent.
30 Minutes On are weekly tours highlighting underrepresented perspectives from Tate’s collection. This will include artists, artworks or themes which have often been historically ignored, forgotten or censored. The theme of these tours changes every four months.
The guided tour is on every Monday and Wednesday afternoon until Wednesday 26th February 2020.
