Join us for a lunchtime chat with Olivier Award-winning actor, instrumentalist and composer Sheila Atim, as she talks to Guardian multimedia journalist Iman Amrani.
Atim studied biomedical science at King’s College London before training as an actor at Wac Arts, Belsize Park. Her role as Marianne Laine in the Bob Dylan musical, Girl from the North Country, won her the Olivier Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical, and she is soon to star in a highly anticipated Game of Thrones prequel.
The 28 year-old actress and multi-instrumentalist will be talking to us about Anguis, a new play that she wrote and took to the Edinburgh Fringe this summer, as well her future projects.
This event is part of Fresh Voices, which showcases inspirational young people from the worlds of literature, activism, stage, and design.
