L.I.F.E Talks is a platform founded in 2016 by Velma Simmons, who witnessed first hand just how hard it was to break into the entertainment industry. The purpose of the event is for audiences to hear first hand accounts by industry moguls who discuss their journey and lessons learnt. Our passion is to bring people of the culture together, to maximise their potential.

We are proud to bring you an evening with Yvette Noel Schure, Shayla Cowan, Christina Okorocha  (co-founder of VAMPUK) and Monique Blake (CEO of MEA Creative Management) amongst others, who will share their career and life experiences.

Shayla Cowan is a true female pioneer. She is a Producer and the Chief of Staff at Will Packer Productions and Will PackerMedia. She has played a critical role in the success of films such as Girls Trip, Night School, Little, What Men Want, Think Like A Man, and many more!

Yvette Noel Schure is the Executive Vice President and Co-Founder of Schure Media Group, whom Elle Magazine recently described as the ‘Bey Keeper’ (that’s right as in Beyonce). Yvette has been Queen B’s publicist since the days of Destiny Child’s and has represented legends such as the late Prince among others.

The evening will be hosted by Dior Bediako and will feature live music from Nipah!
