Livewire breaks shifted into downtempo pop as FAUZIA made her first bold steps in production. Now she brings us her new live show, with support from Dur-Dur Band.
FAUZIA performs music from her recent releases, as well as forthcoming work she has been developing this past year. It’s set to provide an exciting insight into where she’s heading as an artist.
Her journey so far has been explosive: a series of missives released during the pandemic identified her as a talent to watch, and one set on hasty evolution.
She quickly moved from the starry-eyed breaks of Fragments to are you hoping for a miracle? and time, a pair of downtempo pop releases which heard her singing for the first time. They also featured collaborations with Kelela and George Riley.

FAUZIA first broke through as a DJ. Inspired by the interwoven legacies of fast music from either side of the Atlantic, her monthly NTS show sees her blend together the best of footwork, jungle, and everything in between – with the likes of Mall Grab, Kode9, DJ Taye, Om Unit and Ikonika stopping in for guest spots.
As part of our Purcell Sessions, FAUZIA is also pushing into new creative territory with an interactive installation retelling Somali history through sound and visuals.

NB: FAUZIA invites you to interact with an audio visual installation Sunday 12th December, 12 PM, retelling the history of Somalia, created in collaboration with Alex Peverett. Book here
