We all have amazingly unique bodies that help us be here with the ones we love, but despite this we have negative feelings and thoughts about our body due to things we can and cannot control.
One of the biggest factors in how we see our bodies is SOCIETY!
The media has long pushed the norm of WHITE, ABLE-BODIED, THIN/IN-SHAPE, AND FEMALE.
ALL others were considered distasteful. In the age of social media we are seeing a change, re-imaging what bodies should look like and be able to do.
In this discussion and coaching, we will dive into the racist and sexist origins of body discrimination and the obsession and shame associated with having or not having THE PERFECT body.
