As one half of EPMD, alongside Parish Smith, and as a solo artist Erick Sermon has been churning out hip hop classics for over 40 years. A true legend of the game he, and his ‘Hit Squad’, were responsible for helping shape the sound of ‘Golden Era’ late 1980’s and early 1990’s Hip-Hop with their combination of Funk breaks and hard hitting lyrics.
