Niche on Demand (NOD) is an equitable studio for Black creatives where they can own their art, develop and tell their stories. Thus, NOD exists to demonstrate the art of the possible and the collective, using business and technology as enablers for art.
Aiming to raise £100 million by 2030, NOD was created in response to the persistent feedback of exploitative methods, lack of funding and access to commissioners who are unable to comprehend Black stories beyond trauma and violence.
Sabrina Clarke-Okwubanego and Zena Tuitt, co-founders of Niche on Demand will host a 60-minute Town Hall meeting on Wednesday 17 November 2021, at 7pm GMT/ 3pm EST. This event gives audiences an opportunity to hear the duo introduce the projects you can give a ‘NOD’ to in this first round of crowdfunding; speak more about their plans to turn the industry on its head, and set out their vision to unlock the cultural and financial power of the global Black diaspora.
