The team and I have been busy working on scaling the business and expanding our production slate.
It gives me great pleasure to announce that we have launched 2 sister publications Grad Zine and Africa in Focus, to complement Real Reads.
These publications, along with our soon to be produced podcast shows and masterclasses, are available to individuals who subscribe to our Membership Packages.
Through our multi-media digital publishing company, we want to create new experiences that centres cultural competency. Via high quality content and partnership brokering, we aim to disrupt traditional markets, challenge the status quo and buck conventional storytelling.
Our newsroom is staffed by a team of international Black female and non-binary writers, penning crucial and critical commentary at the intersection of race and gender. Our podcasts strike at the heart of the matter, each episode inspiring candid conversations with intellectuals and cultural change-makers. And our masterclasses are a suite of modular learning resources representing forward-thinking industry best-practice, providing access to workshops and seminars with expert practitioners.
To achieve all of this, we need your support. Your subscription ensures we can:
- Make our platform more viable long-term
- Expand the scale and scope of our team
- Build new features and develop new programmes
- Generate funding to invest in female-led startups
Over the coming days, I will share more details about each package and our commitments to our community.
The official launch is next FRIDAY 26th MARCH 2021.
I’ll share a special discount code for existing subscribers – so sign up today!
